PTCOG 61 Conference Theme

The PTCOG 61 Conference Theme is ’Integrative Particle Therapy and Complementary Care’, reflecting the importance of integrating particle therapy into comprehensive cancer care.

As part of this theme, it is relevant to clarify our understanding and meaning of the term Complementary Care. PTCOG 61 will discuss complementary care as ‘Quality Actions for Integral Care’.



This includes but is not limited to:

Symptoms Control: Specialized pre, intra and post proton therapy care
Out-Proton Therapy Care: Travel, accommodation, schooling, language translators (communication) and free-time activities
Personal Wellness: Stress management, nutrition and managing rest and relaxation
